AlphaTopic YouTube Trend Analysis

"Why does that channel go viral every time they post, while my videos get no response?"

80% of YouTube growth depends on 'Topic Selection'. Finding topics that people already want to see and that the algorithm is pushing is the shortcut to success. However, finding the 'real gems' among countless videos is not easy.

That's why we've prepared a powerful weapon for AlphaCut users: the data-driven trend analysis tool, [AlphaTopic]Introducing [AlphaTopic].

First, try entering a topic (keyword) you want to analyze.

  1. In the top menu of AlphaCut, click [AlphaTopic].
  2. Enter a 'topic (keyword)' you're interested in or related to your channel into the search bar.
    • (e.g., "Investment," "Diet Meal Plan," "Travel Vlog," "AI Tool Recommendations")
  3. [Search] button, and AI will collect high-performing videos for that keyword.

2. 4 Absolute Metrics & Detailed Analysis

Once the search results are out, it's time to analyze why these videos performed well. AlphaTopic provides powerful tools to analyze videos from multiple angles.

① 4 Key Metrics

We provide 'real performance' metrics that you can't tell from view counts alone.

  • 📈 Contribution: How much did this video help the channel grow?
  • 🚀 Performance: Regardless of channel size, how well did it reach the target audience?
  • 💬 Engagement: How enthusiastically did viewers respond with likes, comments, etc.?
  • ⚡ Alpha Index [Key]: The 'viral potential' score based on AI's synthesis of all the data above.

② Sorting and Viewing Values

  • Sorting: Click the headers for each item, such as views, subscribers, or Alpha Index. You can quickly find top-performing videos by sorting them in ascending or descending order.
  • View as Values(On/Off): By default, they are displayed as intuitive Great, Good intuitive labels (badges), but if you turn on the [View as Values] button at the top, precise numerical data will be shown for more detailed analysis.

③ Detailed Video Information

Try clicking on a video of interest from the list. You can see detailed data like the thumbnail, exact upload date, and channel subscriber count at a glance in a pop-up window.

3. Digging Deeper (Expansion & Filters)

Want to find more data or pick out only the videos that meet your criteria?

If the search results are insufficient, click the [Additional Search] button to the right of the search bar. AI will scour even deeper to find more videos and add them to the list. (Consumes 1 search credit)

② Advanced Filter Settings

Click the [Filter Settings] button at the top to narrow down benchmarking targets that fit your needs.

  • Filter by Channel Size: "I only want to see channels with under 10k subscribers" → Adjust the subscriber slider.
  • Filter by Metric: "Only show videos with 'Great' performance" → Select metric options.
  • Period/Format: Detailed settings like videos from the last month or only Shorts are available.

③ Search Within Results

This is useful when the collected list is too long. Use the input field at the bottom to quickly narrow down only the videos containing specific words from the currently collected list.(e.g., Filtering only those containing 'Samsung Electronics' among hundreds of videos searched for 'Stocks')

④ Search with a New Keyword

Want to analyze a completely different topic? Click the [Search with New Keyword] button to the right of the search bar. The existing results will be reset, and the input field will be activated for a new keyword search.

4. Practical Use! Getting 200% Out of AlphaTopic

AlphaTopic uses 'Search Credits', which are separate from the existing video conversion credits. Use AlphaTopic efficiently with the following 3-step process.

  1. Enter Keywords: Enter core keywords for your channel or a new field you want to explore.
    • (e.g., "Camping," "Using ChatGPT," "Vlog")
  2. Data Analysis: Don't just look at view counts. Prioritize videos in the search results with high 'Alpha Index' and 'Performance' (Good or higher). These are the truly 'valuable' videos.
  3. Benchmarking: Find commonalities among those videos and apply them to your next video planning.
    • What is the thumbnail style like?
    • What patterns (questions, numbers, etc.) were used in the title?
    • What is the hooking scene in the first 3 seconds?

Closing

"Data does not lie." Stop choosing topics based on gut feeling and leaving it to luck. AlphaTopic Use AlphaTopic to find proven success formulas and produce them quickly with AlphaCut. We will be a definitive booster for your channel's growth.
