Refund Policy
AlphaCut Refund Policy and Terms
1. Refund Request Period
Credits are automatically deducted based on the length (in minutes) of the video input. Seconds are rounded down, and once minutes of credits have been consumed, the service is considered used.
AlphaCut is an AI-based digital content service; content delivery begins immediately after payment. Once content delivery has commenced, the right of withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2)(5) of the Electronic Commerce Act.
① Refunds may only be requested within 14 days of purchasing credits if the credits have not been used at all.
② Membership (recurring payment) services may be cancelled before the next billing date, but fees already charged for the current billing cycle are non-refundable.
③ Additionally purchased credits expire one month after the purchase date, and expired credits are not eligible for refund.
④ Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and do not constitute "prepaid electronic payment instruments".
Refund requests can be submitted through our customer support.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available in the following cases:
- The purchased credits have not been used at all
- Normal use of the service is impossible due to a service failure
- A duplicate payment occurred due to a payment system error
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
- The purchased credits have been used
- The refund request period (14 days) has passed
- Damage caused by user error during service use
- Generated videos have been downloaded
4. Refund Process
The refund process is as follows:
Step 1: Contact customer support (support@alphacut.video)
Step 2: Complete refund application and submit supporting documents
Step 3: Refund review (3–5 business days)
Step 4: Payment cancellation upon refund approval
Step 5: Refund completed (3–10 days depending on card issuer)
5. Membership Cancellation
① Membership may be cancelled at any time.
② From the cancellation date until the next billing date, you may continue to use the service normally.
③ Already charged membership fees are non-refundable.
④ Membership cancellation can be handled directly on the membership page or by contacting customer support.
6. Refund Method
① Refunds are processed to the original payment method in principle:
- Credit card: card cancellation (3–5 days)
- Bank transfer: account refund (3–5 days)
- Easy payment: processed according to each payment method's policy
② You will be notified by email or SMS when the refund is complete.
7. Refund Restrictions
① Refunds may be restricted in the following cases:
- Payment made through fraudulent means
- Violation of the Terms of Service
- Refund application submitted with false information
② Whether a refund is approved is determined in accordance with the Company's policies.
